Straia was born in the Chamber on April 4, 2014. A year after she was born, her mother Frostweaver disappeared. Not long after, Araby and Nocturnal both visit the Chamber and Straia quickly finds out that her mother was not simply gone, but murdered, though the murderer had not been identified. Straia continues to harbor a quiet rage against this murderer, and would like to him the horse that killed her mother and return the favor one day.

Not long after Straia’s mother is killed, Rodrik brings home a girl from the den named Oksana. At first, Straia does not like the girl, but soon their quiet regard for one another turns into a fierce, sisterly love. The two girls grew up playing in the Chamber, which was rather quiet through Straia’s childhood.

On June 15, 2014 Rodrik decides to place Oksana on the Falls throne, and so Oksana leaves the Chamber and Straia is left alone again in the Chamber. Not long after, on July 6, 2014, Kindling (one of the Chamber members) leaves the Chamber as well to take the Valley throne. Straia follows to see if this treachery is true (having never much liked Kindling), and instead finds a stallion named Malach. She invites him to come visit in the Chamber sometime, which he does, where a strange sort of romance begins to grow, though uncertain in its direction.

On October 1, 2014, Straia is promoted to Lady of the Chamber. Time passes in relatively the same manner until February 8, 2014 when disaster strikes. At the hands of the magician Eight, the nearby volcano erupts, destroying the Chamber. The residents are left to pick up the pieces again.

Eight soon takes over the throne in the Valley. On a visit to the kingdom, Straia meets Eight and learns of his new position. She uses the opportunity to have Eight help her depose her father from the throne, who has been largely absent in the last year. Eight agrees, and they return to the Chamber. On March 18, 2015, Eight announces to the kingdom that he will be taking Rodrik to live in the Valley and will be placing Straia on the throne. There is no unrest, except between Straia and her family, when this occurs.

Straia quickly gives birth to an heir apparent in the next year, choosing Warship as the only logical father. Erebor is born as a man trapped in a child's body, and quickly becomes indispensable to the kingdom. Together, Straia, Kavi, Warship and Erebor work to rebuild the Chamber over the coming years. As the Chamber grows in strength, it also grows in recklessness. Led by the Chamber ghost, Gryffen, a handful of Chamber horses attack the Gates, destroying their Mother Tree and taking the Gates Queen, Fiasko, hostage. On the return journey home, Gryffen rapes the Queen, who would later give birth to a child named Zayn.

Fiasko agrees to stay in the Chamber indefinitely so long as the Chamber agrees to leave the Gates alone. Straia agrees to this, allowing Fiasko to travel to the Gates in order to deliver the news. Talk of war and revenge grows within Beqanna, and the kingdoms begin to form alliances. Straia and the rest of the Chamberlings simply begin to prepare themselves for war. Straia also gives birth to her second child, a daughter named Weaver.

During this time, the magical entities come to maturity, and Shaytan and Straia are first to use the prophetic powers of the tree. Straia sees possibilities of the looming war, and takes these options to Killdare and Warship, her Lord and General. They all agree to bring the war to the Chamber. With the aide of Evrae, while the other kingdoms are left nearly empty, the magician would wreak havoc on their homes. Around this time, Zayn also murders his mother, Fiasko. Straia gathers the kingdom, letting them loose to steal and challenge as much as possible from the other kingdoms in an attempt to incite war. In addition, she sends Weaver to the Gates to deliver the news of Fiasko's death.

War comes, spurred by Straia after stopping the heart of an innocent before the eyes of the other monarchs. The war is a bloody and chaotic, fed by fear and anger. It is everything she had worked for, to create such fear in the hearts of others at the sound of the Chamber's name. There is no clear winner, but eventually, Straia leaves the throne to Kildare in order to end the war. She had done what she planned, and her job was complete.

Straia retires to the mountains with her family, living there until quietly oblivion, the twin of death, slips her into the afterlife.

November 4, 2019 the gates of death are blow open during a quest to allow communication between the realms. Straia returns, finding herself on the beach in time to murder an already dying horse, testing new powers given to her from Beqanna. She had become something else, something more....
