Demian was born when adalind became tired of producing disappointing children from other royal stallions, and decided to go straight to the most powerful himself. Carnage. Demian was the first born to adalind with traits and carried on her glowing orage in the form of jaguar spots all over his body, immediately making him more special to her than the rest. Adalind was very manipulative, constantly trying to form demian into a power seeking heir. But once old enough, despite loving his mother even with all of her crazy ways, he left the tundra where he had been born and wandered around beqanna.

That is until he came to find the valley on one of his days of exploring. The dark forests and looming mountains seemed to call to him and in secret he began to live amongst the trees, watching the rise and fall of the kingdom and it's members until one day he emerged out of the shadows. The silence of the now quiet kingdom had began to drive his quiet mind a bit crazy and in response he began to search out others and try to bring in new blood in efforts to rebuild and push the silence from even the darkest corners of the evil kingdom.

After a whole year, though his efforts were meant well and never too little, he still had trouble bringing to fruition his desire to rebuild. And so one day he took to the mountians of the valley in search of the gods. There they found him, instead of the other way around, providing him the opportunity to make a small request. His request being to go back to the center of thr kingdom and take eight's place as king. He would do this only long enough he assured them, in order to find a proper king or queen, or maybe even both that worked hard enough to gain the throne.

With their approval and good luck wishes he returned back to meeting place and called everyone who was left forward to let them know of his plan. During the meeting (8/27/2015), Eight appeared, sending demian his approval and welcome and at that moment, demian knew the valley herself had accepted him. Now it was up to him and the valleys new and old blood to revive her to what she once was. And that's exactly what he plans to do.

As the unrest in Beqanna continues to build, in response to the Chambers act against the Gates, Demian, Flamevein and Eight begin to conspire together in the middle of the night, surrounded by an invisible magic bubble that keeps the outside world from hearing their conversation or even seeing in. Once their plans have come into the works, they separate and head their appropriate ways in order to immediately follow through with the plans made. Demian follows Eight to the Border and transitioning himself into a pegasus form of cosmic fire, he allows the Magician to use him and his ability as a conduit to create and everlasting/cosmic fire border around the valley in order to keep those who mean the kingdom and it's members harm from coming in, hearing through, or seeing to the other side. Within the kingdom though they can see through to the other side. (Think one way mirrors)

In the process of creating the border, Demian unknowingly sacrifices his eyes to create a secondary border around the small meadow in which the valley's magic tree is growing. It will take time for him to realize as the cosmic fire refuses to leave his sockets until he has healed. He is now blind unless he uses the fire to create a set of eyes, then in which he can see the world through blue, green, and purple flame, the same colors of the valley's borders.

Flamevein then comes into action, marking the loyal members of the valley once Demian let's them know what is going on. He and the members take on a carved V, thanks to flamevein that holds swirling flames within the lines that lead to no harm.

With big actions, come great sacrifices. And Demian is now shaping the Valley into the kingdom it has been known to be. Atleast he was. Days after the emergence of the wall, a vicious infection set in his eyes (for with great action, come great consequences. Even if those actions had good intentions), pushing the jaguar king to the back of the Valley in hopes of healing, or even dying. Before leaving his post, he passed the throne to Gallows and Fennick, not knowing how long this infection would take to heal, or if at worst, it would kill him. And so not willing to leave his kingdom vulnerable he passed it into two proven sets of minds and made his way to the corners of the kingdom in secret, not allowing any of the members to know what exactly was going on.

Yet now he returns, slowly making his way into kingdom life again. Soon he will realize his wall and the sacrifices he made were all done just to be torn back down and replaced with a new force. How he reacts and how this shapes him, time will tell. But until then, unbeknownst to him due to his abdication of the throne and the wall dying so too is his power of fire dying. With rulership always came a great gift. But when one left, it was slowly stripped away. Taken back by the God's of Beqanna in order to make a point. That in all reality the only reason you had what you did, was because at one point you were worthy, and now you are not. It's fair in all truth. For if every horse kept their power after leaving, too many would be running around with the forces of nature at their fingertips.

And so the flame flickers lower and lower, slowly coming to halt. Though in the last bit of flame that remained, just enough to light up the large stallions eyes, it is stripped from him with such force that the wind is knocked out of him. It comes with Eight's stripping the wall back into the ground and with a large gasp from Demian, the cosmic fire is gone in it's entirety, leaving him blind to the world around him. With it the cold starts to creep in, his heart begins to beat once more and with an unusual feeling of unease the once jaguar king is left to learn the world once more, this time without sight.Creeping back to the deepest corners of the Valley, the once jaguar king finds himself hiding in the caves at the oceanside. For the next two years he spends his time learning how to navigate the world and the corners of Beqanna without his sight. He teaches himself to rely on his other senses until he finally is able to safely move around without walking himself off a cliff.

It was when the silence filled the Valley and the voices began to disappear that Demian emerged from his hiding, seeking out the faces he had known to once fill the kingdom. His first trip is to the forest, and here he comes across Hestia, Fennick (the current king of the valley's lover) and during their meeting for the first time, Pollock comes and kills Hestia infront of him. Though due to his lack of sight, Demian cannot claim himself a witness to the murder. Quickly Demian follows after kryten once he notes the kings lover as dead and he realizes what has happened. After a while he finds his way back into the kingdom in search of the unusual king he had put in place of himself but is unable to find him. Coming across the only one left during his search (Rhonan), Demian began to make plans with the man of darkness about how to make the Valley great once more. After a year of patient waiting, recruiting new faces, Demian makes a move to replace Fennick.

He is successful. (feb. 16, 2016) The Faeries grant Demian his wish after a midnight meeting, and he returns to the Valley, taking his role as king once more. After his prompt rise to the throne a second time, Demian quickly provides a prince to Valley with Padma (despite his hesitancy for intimacy) and when he is born the Jaguar king names the snake-child Tannor, bringing him with him in order to learn the ways of kingdom life.

Now it is up to Demian and Rhonan to build the Valley once more, bringing it new life and a new purpose before the oncoming war has began.
