Tarnished stands seventeen hands high at the withers; while he has his father to thank for his massive size and thick muscle, he has his mother to thank for the rest of his features, most notably his Spanish-type head and roan coat. He has a dark, chocolate-colored mask that covers the majority of his face and dark chocolate points. Little, white hairs speckle the rest of his would-be black body and make his coat look almost pastel mocha in color. His mane, as well as his tail, have a ‘tarnished silver’ look with darker bronze roots and streaks. There are scars in the shape of four claw marks across his chest from an unfortunate encounter he had with a tiger. He also has a scythe-shaped scar on the right side of his face in honor of his mother; the 'blade' curves around underneath his right eye and the 'hilt' shoots upwards towards his temple.
