Born of Carnage and Astri in the nebula age, he's not been doing much except putting his face out there. He had a ... mishap on the beach, accidentally killing a black sabino stallion with a gold blaze who'd caught him trying to feast on a dead corpse. Ever since then he'd been laying low and keeping in and out of the Chamber borders, thinking about his next move in life, until he came across Zojja (a mare he'd met some time ago) and the two decided to travel in each other's company. Lupei felt strongly connected with her but returned to the Chamber to seek out his son, Lestrade. There he met with Dacia, who gave him the news that their dam, Astri, had been murdered by an unusual palomino stallion. With war looming over Beqanna Lupei left to search for clues not only to his mother's killer, but to spend time with Zojja also. From afar, he watched the Chamber burn at the hands of Yael and, prompted by the magic of the Chamber, launched a retaliation against the Jungle, using his white fire to burn the amazon kingdom with a deadly wildfire. He then found himself tangled in the heart of the war, located in the Chamber, where the Jungle magician Prague used her powers against him to strip him of his mane and tail, and to brand him eternally with a lion on his right shoulder - a symbol that he was forever an enemy of the Amazon sisters. She warned him that the tattoo would glow red and subsequently burn him the closer he approached the Jungle. After the war had ended, Lupei was now a murderer again - Taking the life of Lyris. He awoke to ash, left his kingdom and sought out Zojja who had given birth to his twin sons, Kudu and Wyrm. Choosing now a life of servitude to his kingdom, split with dedication to his new family, Lupei hoped to settle into some sense of normalcy. He worked hard for Killdare and rose in the ranks, battling an especially peculiar Dalean mare named Talulah, who prompted him to visit the Dale on friendly terms - a meeting where he would come to know the name of the horse he had killed on the beach so long ago, and that Talulah and Tiphon (the angel king) were family to the murdered horse. Returning to his empty herdland, Lupei made the decision to hand over his lands in favor of returning to work in his birth home, but he ran across Dacia there and uncovered what had happened between her and Killdare - most notably, finding out that Killdare had taken a consort without previous knowledge from Dacia. In a fit of rage the horse turned wolf and verbally attacked the King of the Chamber, threatening to bring unrest to the magma King's life. Killdare banished him and Dacia from the Kingdom, the home where they had been born, and thus began a feud between the bloodlines.
Licking his wounds and choosing to focus on his progeny, Wyrm, Lupei set the boy up for success and then disappeared, slowly being consumed by his stolen power which (unknowingly) had now cursed him. Slipping into madness the old wolf returned long after Wyrm had produced a grandson - intending to wipe out every child he'd ever created in search for a new, worthy apprentice. Preemptively, Wyrm had trained his child, Longclaw, for Lupei's return and when the black wolf came to start new destruction, Wyrm and Longclaw were waiting to maim and kill him. Lupei died the same way he'd killed Tiberios: by having his heart ripped free from his chest and devoured by Longclaw.
