Astra is small in stature and petite in build, her mane and tail are relatively short, and are kept neat and straight. The mare's mane is angled and flipped to one side of her neck at all times. Her ears are slightly longer than normal, but do not reach a length which would suggest any elvish-ness or rabbit like features. Astra's eyes are a slightly more blue shade than her hair, and a gathering of gold sparkles crowd around the bottoms of her irises. Upon her shoulders rest black wings, with golden tips at the end of a few of the feathers. Astra's hooves are also black in colour, contrasting against her otherwise pale body.

Though trauma and strong emotions plague her mind, Tamashi remains as stubborn and childish as a foal, her words are sharp but her heart is soft. The mare enjoys singing, and can often be found humming or singing nursery rhymes to herself. There is an energetic hop to her steps, and she is very light on her feet; however, she prefers to spend her time in the sky, enjoying the feeling of the wind in her feathers.
