Wrynn was born as the result of some tampering by Camrynn. Scorch met Camrynn when she was pretending to be a bay filly with color changing eyes named Cammie. As Cammie, Camrynn won Scorch's heart and was asked to compete for the Deserts crown on the Jungle's behalf. She agreed, but in order to win, had to swear allegiance to the Deserts, and had to swear it on her magic, which she did. Scorch considered it a betrayal, and hated Camrynn. When Scorch came to visit the Deserts to offer an alliance and discover the results of the competition, she left without an answer, but before she left Camrynn implanted a magic "trip wire": the next time Scorch had a child, she'd have twins, and there would be a female twin who looked just like Cammie in every way. Whether this was an apology for being literally the worst child ever or a malicious joke remains to be seen.
