AND THE MOME RATHS OUTGRABE
She knows she's made a poor decision, back-pedaling from the bug colored female. Storky limbs struggling to stay upright, but she manages not to fall or trip herself up. Her bay dial lifts, a snort exhaling through her nostrils, and her hazel eyes stare wide. This one was grouchy, much more than she had anticipated. Nothing like the Jungle green Lucetta, nothing. Sarkis tosses her head as she backs up, leaving a much more appropriate space between them.
"Okay, okay sorry." It took the better part of her concentration not to squeal. This one was likely related to the crocodiles back home, their harsh tones so similair. Their coarse disposition a reflection of the other, at least to the young Amazon's mind. Now a safe and much more polite distance, she watches carefully as the other female throws venom-filled words her way. More than anything she was confused, having to learn of the harsher side of life through trial and error. "My Mother's busy," she gives gently, her ears pulling forward. "Overseeing the Jungle takes a lot of her time." An attempt to convince them both that this was important, that it was normal for one's parents to be so absent. Long eyelashes flick, her hazel gaze taking in the form of the green. The look was curious, if not a bit envious.
"That's not a very good way to make friends you know." She knew that she herself, did not want to be alone the rest of her life.
