Echo Trails lies in the rolling foothills of the mountains just north of the Dale, the craggy peaks watching over the herdland and defending it from invaders to the east. A clear, spring-fed river flows down from those mountains, gathering together from a series of tributaries and ending in a lake where the forest meets the plains to the west.

Willows line the riverbank, their branches draping gracefully out over the water to flirt with the surface, reaching down to touch with curious fingers and getting drawn into dancing with the current. They sway in the breeze, a curtain of silken green coaxing the casual observer to step forward, enjoy the privacy offered by those lovely branches.

Game trails crisscross through sprawling oak forests, with lovely meadows nestled into their embrace. And little patches of wood violets crop up throughout the territory, like kaleidoscopes of tiny purple and powder blue butterflies fluttering on beds of green.
