Josselyn is a product of a real love. Her parents fell in love quickly and it resulted in Josselyn. It all changed when her father became estranged when Ygritte accepted the position for Queen of the Falls. The queen-ship drove a wedge between the two and thus Josselyn only has vague memories of the horned bay stallion. Such distance had driven Joss to seek out new friendships, particularly with males. She is coming of age in Beqanna after the war and without much guidance.
