The Gates

The Gates is a lush, beautiful land. The grass is vibrant and green for much of the year, covering rolling hills and meadows with willows growing along the coasts. There are small copses of trees that provide shade from the summer sun, though the temperature here is rarely too hot. The Gates maintains a rather spring-like atmosphere for most of the year, growing only moderately hotter and colder as the seasons change. For those that remember the Gates from the past, they may notice that there is a higher prevalence of wildflowers of all colors and variety dotting the landscape now, including a large meadow of lavender that is striking to behold. In the center of this purple meadow sits a massive tree – the Mother Tree – with branches that droop to the ground.
