    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Life's a game, wanna play?( Any)

    midnite

Midnite surged forwards, her hooves kicking up clumps of snow and ice. Playfully the filly leapt and kicked out her hind legs in glee, was life always going to be like this? Because if it was she wished it could always be like this, not a care in the world. She was free to play. The only problem was she had no one to play with.

Her brother had mysteriously disappeared after she was born, and was never seen in Heavens Gates for multiple months. Her mother tended to leave her for a few days while she went to socialize and recruit but, eventually her mother would return.

She halted in her steps before the mother tree, it was still damaged from the attack of the chambers according to her mom yet, was healing. Her slowly greying coat shone in the little sunlight of dawn, her ebony nostrils flared awaiting for someone to come along. There had to be someone right?

Body trembling in the cold, she waited striding around the great tree hoping someone would pass by but no one came. Silver coated lobes swiveled as she let out a shrill Whinney in search of a friend. Her voice seemed to echo throughout Heavens Gates for a moment then vanished. No response. She let out another hoping someone would at least take notice to her, at least play with her.

Midnite snorted, waiting. she planted her feet in the snow as she looked over the mother tree. Her mom had told her that it held magic inside of it, yet she always by passed it as a legend. In curiosity she trotted up to the trunk, her clumsy long legs tripping over the large roots, as she fell her head butted against the large trunk. "Ow!" She moaned. Inky black ears pinned as she gathered her senses gently raising herself up onto all four appendages. Her dark chocolate pools eyed the tree, there was truly nothing special about it, it was just an ordinary tree. Just bigger?

Her head bobbed as she walked, the bridge of her nose was a bit sore, nothing she couldn't handle by herself but, it would be truly wonderful to have someone by her side.

    love's a game - wanna play?
