Advancing in the ranks by point amounts:
First Rank (laziks, salik): you start here with 0 points
Second Rank (fidais, rafik): 15 points
Third Rank (emir, arif): 30 points
Fourth Rank (khwaja, dias): 50 points
Fifth Rank (qital, salaam): 75 points
Concerning Qital & Salaam:
There are two positions for lead of the castes. The person ranked at the very top is the leader, while the one below them is basically their second in command. If there is only one person at the top, and you reach the requisite number of points you will move into second in command. After 2 RL life weeks, if you wish to become the leader of the caste and push the person into second in command, you may challenge in an appropriate manner for that caste for the position (aka, a challenge for the war caste or a heated debate for the peace caste). If BOTH positions are filled and you reach the requisite number of points needed to advance, you must first challenge the second in command. After 2 RL weeks, you can then challenge the leader if you wish to advance even further. If you were to win against the second in command it would push them down to the ranking khwaja/dias. if you were to win against the top leader of the caste, you would push them down into second in command.
Keeping track of points:
This will be done in a different thread. You will be required to keep track of your own points, post links and then inform me through PM when you reach a total amount that allows advancement. I will then check to make sure everything is correct and then place your character where they are meant to go.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please PM me.
