[PQ - in progress] Fire Burns Deep Within

A few weeks had passed since Amenadiel's last journey to the Mountain peak. As he awoke from his slumber, a dream called out to him, compelling him to return to the summit. Stretching his majestic wings, he soared once more towards the towering peak. After a brief flight, he alighted and commenced the arduous climb, striving to prove his worthiness. Folding his dark, now scaled wings by his side, he gazed up at the sky and spoke, "I have returned. What is your purpose in summoning me once more?"

Sometimes a dream is just a dream, replies a voice like fire, hissing and crackling and scorching hot along his skin.

But sometimes it is not.

The heat of the voice intensifies, becoming intangible flames. When Amenadiel draws in a breath, the fire spirals down his throat, and disappears. The burning becomes instead a pleasant warmth, nestled within Amenadiel’s chest. Pleasant for now at least, as the flames will emerge with unpredictable strength and timing once the stallion leaves the Mountain.

You must have (at least) 4 threads of Amenadiel learning to control his (currently unpredictable) fire breathing and/or dealing with the consequences of it. The unpredictable firebreathing will last until the quest is completed, or 3 RL months, whichever is first.

The fire within him emerges again, pouring from his mouth and nose, sliding up his head, then neck, engulfing his body and reaching toward the earth. He is a creature made entirely of flame.

A cold wind blows down the mountain, icy and bitter, and when it reaches him, the flames extinguish, quelled by the magic. He is left as near a dragon as a horse can be, the fire turning to smoke that drifts into the clear sky.
