    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

if i stare into the abyss, will it stare into me?

Pinned ears on a mare are never a good sign. Skeleton Ghoul keeps a polite distance (and by polite, he means he's out of kicking range), only watching her. The wind kicks up again, bitter and biting, blowing his tangled, faerie-braided all over the place -- he waits for her to say something else besides just "Yes", but apparently that's all she's got. Oh, great. The conversation is riding on his dubious ability to be charming.

Chewing and swallowing another mouthful (his front teeth are all sharp but he still has molars, thankfully), Skel takes in a breath. "Name's Skeleton Ghoul," the stallion offers. "Or Skel, is fine. That's what most people in Taiga call me."

As if to show he has no intention of being a threat, despite his teeth and being about two thousand pounds, the titan drops his head and resumes grazing. She can tell him her name if she wants, or not. It's up to the spotted woman.
