<br> Kreios is like a dumb bully, all he knows is how to throw his weight around. There’s no cunningness behind the decision, there’s no class. If his power had been allowed then perhaps it would be different but Gryffen highly doubts it. The percheron is like an idiotic ogre and whatever form he may take, the personality stays the same. Kreios also seems to think that he is hovering in mid air, as if bucking takes an extravagant amount of time to expel the energy and recuperate. Bucking is quick and fast and as it was a reflex move and not one he put a lot of thought behind, he definitely hadn’t lingered in his movements. As he had turned his body and they are angled, Kreios pushing himself forward with his front legs in the air would merely push the other stallion aside as his back legs were coming back down to earth. His decent was already happening and even though his opponent is larger than him, they are close enough that there’s not enough of a charge or contact made to bowel him over the way Kreios would like. Yes, it makes Gryffen stumble and it takes him a few seconds to stop looking like a newborn foal, but he gathers himself enough and simply turns a red eye glare at the aggressor.
<br>Since he stumbles, it brings him away from Kreios. Not really putting him in the vicinity to be immediately pounced upon and pummeled. Kreios may be coming down from his little boxing move, his front hooves may have already hit the floor. Either way, Gryffen turns with a few quick steps to bring his body around to meet the stallion face to face. His body comes up against the Percheron’s right, though slightly angled since he had to turn around, and he throws his weight back so his front hooves can come up in an effort to meet Kreios as he descends (unless he has done so already). However his attack has nothing to do with his front legs, instead his neck extends as his lips pull back and expose yellowed teeth. He snaps at the other male, looking to close his teeth on flesh. It’s not an attack that would cause serious damage but it’s a smart move in it’s way. First, if he manages to make contact either in the neck or face area which is what he’s going for, he’s going to cause some pain. His teeth are seeking to reach up for Kreios’s cheek but Kreios could move and his attack may fall somewhere else if at all. Second, he’s snapping may make Kreios turn himself away to try and avoid his teeth which will make him distracted. Third, by attacking in this way he can keep Kreios closer to him which limits just how much power he can build up in future attacks. The outcome of this is uncertain and so everything hangs in the balance, depending on Kreios’s decision.
