Her plan had been to go straight back to Taiga. Take the twins and return to her mundane life, where nothing exciting happened. That isn't how it had gone however. Leaving the borders of Pangea she dropped the kids and Dexter (though against his will) off at the playground and returned solo to the meadow.
She had never been the type to stew on her life here, a prisoner to the multi hued meadow she had called "home". In her isolation she scoffed at that word. How could she have ever thought of this place as home with out a mother or a father to kiss her goodnight or friends to find mischief with? It had been anything but a home.
And yet she finds herself returning here more often than she should. A pale golden, chocolate dipped angle rimmed in glittering rose gold standing precariously amongst the freshly fallen snow where her favorite patch of blue and purple flowers should be.
Her brown forelock catching a gentle but bitter winter breeze blows back into her long, tantalizing brown and rose gold mane. Her wings shuffle slightly beside her, a soft rose gold tipped feather drifting lazily to the grown. The snowflakes that dapple her muzzle shine brightly, exacerbated by the snow that covers the ground and the rose gold markings on her face glint in the winters sun. Her bright, icey blue eye travels to the edge of the meadow where she first came into this world thoughts of a lonely childhood encasing her mind.
