Recently, we've been made aware that several players have raised concerns that their issues/concerns aren't being addressed by the owners/officers. We feel we're addressing all of the issues brought to us in a timely and understandable fashion and that we have been listening to concerns/issues and dealing with them as fairly as possible. Clearly, something is not working.
We'd like to make Beqanna a game that you enjoy playing and a safe place. We've created a Google Doc here and we encourage you to voice your concerns and, more importantly, your suggested solutions. Suggested solutions will help us understand what it is you are asking for, and where we are falling short.
Please remember that not agreeing with you doesn't mean we aren't listening. There are two sides to every issue. We do our best to hear both sides before making decisions, whereas players often only hear one side of the story. Not every suggestion given will be implemented, but we'll do our best in return to answer questions, explain our thoughts, and find a compromise that works for everyone.
We do want to let you know how our current review system for issues works though, so that you can offer critique knowing what we do and hopefully help us make this process better.
1 - Every complaint is logged so that we have a collective history of issues relating to or caused by players. One tiny thing is no big deal, whereas many tiny things add up.
2 - Every complaint/issue is discussed by all the officers in a group chat before replying. This keeps us from letting any personal bias we may have individually from influencing the collective decision.
3 - Notwithstanding number 2 above, if an officer or their character is part of the discussion at hand, that officer doesn’t participate. This eliminates obvious personal biases.
Please tell us how we make Beqanna better. There’s absolutely no limit to the topics you may address here, but please offer constructive criticism. We’re looking to understand your issues and also the solutions you would like to see implemented. Do you know of a site that’s doing great with no drama? Tell us about it!
