Go. They said.
Went she did.
Quickly and steadfast.
The fairy bestowed upon her three seeds. Three gifts to the land. Three tributes to a fallen kingdom. They were secured in a pouch around her arched neck. It bounced softly with her smooth stride. She was to plant these seeds, two in areas of her choosing and one in the Taiga. So with great care she descended from the mountain top. Careful to not lose her footing on the steep path. Nearing the base there was a break in her trail. Her hunches buckled as she slid to a stop. Her hooves grinding against stone. It came up quick and she was short on stopping distance so as she reached the end of the trail her hindquarters launched her into the air. Forelimbs reaching for the far side. She lands with barely enough room and the force sends her sliding down the remainder of the mountain. Luckily she hadn't been far from the base. Gathering her legs under her she sets off once again. Happy to be on the main land.
Her task is simple and yet daunting. It is a great respondsibility and one she plans to execute to completion. The mountain wasn't far from her first destination. This is where she tested her powers. Where she first took control of the poison within her veins. Where she had met him. He had been fascinated by her abilities and for a moment she was at peace with her demons. But what happened after those days tore her apart inside. The flames and mass panic they created in Hyaline haunted her to say the least. So it was only fitting that the first seed be planted here...
It was not hard to find the spot in the Forest. The gapping hole in the canopy allowed the only light to luminate the forest floor here. It was a beacon of sorts. Traveling with ease over fallen logs and shedded leaves, she picked her way through the forest floor. Sights set on the nearing daylight amongst shadows. It remained nearly how she, they left it. A pile of scorched logs littered about. Underbrush began to grow where the sun now could easily reach them. She stops, examining the area. Remembering her past time here. The permanent scar she had caused apparent.
Looking about the area, she debated on the perfect spot to plant the precious seed. With a satisfied nod she decided the very center would be best. She worked to clear the logs and charred debris. Nudging them here or there with her ivory snipped muzzle. Her hind limb kicking others away. Once cleared she circles the spot she has choosen. Lowering her muzzle to brush away the leaves before extending her forelimb to scrape away the earth. Each strike of her hoof creating a deeper divot to place the seed into. It hadn't needed to be extremely deep, so after a few strikes she examined it. Perfect. Bringing her muzzle to her breast she lips open the satchel and gently grasps one of the three seeds. Lowering her dished crown to place it into the ground. With a final swipe of her hoof she covers the seed and carefully pats the earth back into place. A smile is brought to her features as she coos, "There you go little guy. Grow big and strong."
She steps back to view her work. She isn't sure how long it will take for the sapling to grow, or if there was anything she can do further to help it along. A satisfactory smile creases her lips. Content on letting Mother Nature take it from here she turns to the west. Ivory dipped legs reach forwards. As she looks into the depths of the woodlands in front of her a bright light twinkled from behind. She stops suddenly, a twist of her nape to view where she had just planted the seed. Bright auburn eyes widen in surprise as she sees a tree - not more than 2 feet tall - has emerged from the earth. Her features illuminate in happiness. For the first time ever she created life, not death...
