Hi! The rules state that a character cannot be challenged unless they have battle stats, but what if I wanted to challenge a leader for someone from their herd, but the leader didn't have battle stats?

to challenge for another member of land, that would work by rule 10 under challenges: "Horses that do not have stats can neither be challenged nor challenge others. They can, however, be challenged for, by challenging the highest ranking member of the kingdom’s army." if there's no official army caste, you could choose any member that had their stats rolled.
