    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Run... Save Yourself from the Destruction [Open]

And all that you hold dear shall crumble and fall around you

Young slender legs carried her swiftly across her homeland as her family had returned once again.  The brightly hued leaves hung overhead like the sunrise and sunset.  She dipped and dodged beneath them, careful to not touch.  After what took place in the other lands, watching the mighty pine brown and die from her touch, she didn't wish to scar this land as she had the other...

As she made her way to the mountain ridges to the west her tiny hooves danced upon a rocky path.  No one could follow her trail here.  She found the dried grasses gave her path away but the rocks did not turn to dust at her feet.  Blackened muzzle barely grazed the stones below as she moved along.  The newly found trail twisted between grey boulders, climbing slight inclines.  Ebony dipped ears swiveled about curiously as the trail suddenly exposed an open area ahead.  Skidding to an abrupt stop she watched for a moment.  Tiny crown held high in alert.  Her sights fell upon an area of washed greys and deadened trees.  Smallish nares flared as she drew in a deep breath.  Tasting the sea salt air upon her lips...

A cautious step was taken forward as curiousity drove her on.  She had not tasted that taste or smelled that smell before... so how could this land have fallen victim to her doing?  Immature mind twisted the thoughts as she stepped out from the mountain side and into the desolate terrain.  Dark eyes shifting from the dried grasses to sandy soil to hollowed logs.  Solemnly she observed...

A flash of white in the sky brought her attention upwards.  Most creatures she had seen of the sky were black or brightly hued song birds.  To better view the winged critter she continued farther into the lands.  Paying no mind to the vulnerable position she had put herself in.  Out in the open in a foreign land.  She knew no better as she stood dark amongst the grey sanded wasteland...

Earth to Earth, Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust

Ooc: open to anyone, maybe another Pangea foal will come across her.  She's up for some trouble Smile
