Jinju
Never before had Jinju really thought of having a sibling. She vaguely remembered her half-brother, whom her biological dam favoured over her, and she had witnessed the close bond Arete and Alivia had. But now she had a sister herself, Jinju didn’t want to let Heda go. They weren’t related by blood, but their shared pasts might made their ties even stronger. Some say you couldn’t miss something that you never had before, but with the knowledge of having a brother and having witnessed what a bond between sisters could be, and now she had such a thing herself.
And Jinju wanted to enjoy it the fullest. She was more than excited to hear that Heda was just as eager as she was herself. The wide grin upon her lips grows, ruby eyes glancing in the direction of their parents to see them still distracted. Or perhaps that was what Ruan and Reagan wanted them to believe. Even before they were able to leave the little clearing, their mother speaks up. Mission failed. They got caught.
Heda takes off before her, leaving a baffled Jinju behind, but one last glance in the direction of their parents she dashes in the navy girl’s direction. ”Wait for me!” she calls out to her sister, a smile tugging on her lips. They were home, and home was safe. Jinju had grown to love the Taiga. Although it wasn’t quite like the Jungle, it was just as amazing. And now the spring had set in again, the temperatures were much better too. Soon she would have her fire back too, yet Jinju couldn’t say that she was looking forward to it, clearly remembering the time she practised with Reagan’s fire.
Her nose bumps into the buckskin’s flank, gently nipping at her skin, before turning away into another direction. ”Catch me if you can~” she playfully sings songs while running away. Maybe a bit unfair, as Jinju knew her way around in the Taiga. But she wanted to guide Heda towards one of her favourite places in the pine tree forest. And why not making it into a little game?
