Life was a funny thing always pulling you in directions you never expect. Felicitey had followed Aries back to Taiga after their brief encounter with Tyr after she came down from the mountain. It had been a slow travel as she couldn't see shit and had never been anywhere other than the meadow.
It was good.
It is good.
She needed this, a change in her life. Someone to force new things upon her. She had not been in Taiga long before venturing off by herself to what she had found out was Loess and another blind fellow, younger. Then it had taken her some more time to get back to the mountain, especially without Aries. But once she did, man was it magical. Truely.
The fairy had scolded her, told her they didn't exist to fix her mistakes. Her poor judgement. She had received her vision once again this was true, but only in one icey blue eye. The other was restored in a different manner. Where her amber eye should sit now sat a black eight ball eye with rose gold markings in the pattern of a sun splayed across half her face. As soon as the fairy left Felicitey had been overwhelmed by the sight of a frosty mountain top in one eye and the reds and golds of a forest with giant trees in another. She did not know how but she knew this was Aries view in this moment.
The journey back was easier and quicker this time. She had spent the time learning how to shut off the visions of others, all of whom she had met once upon a time. Once she had mastered this her mind traveled to other thoughts, good thoughts to pass the time. She went back to that night in Taiga with Aries. It was a warm, quiet night. The heat collecting upon their backs as soft lips traveled, as gentle touches passed between them. It had been a passionate night, one for the books for sure. A sly smile crossed her velvety lips. That had been the night before she took off on her own while he slept.
Her brow crinkled as she contemplated how he might feel when she returned. Her edges had grown rounder while she was gone. Honestly, she wasn't one hundred percent sure if it was winter weight or more.
She had traveled softly on Taiga's border coming to rest in the vacant bleachrd beach. The edges were frozen with winter as the brisk wind snapped her tangled brown mane behind her. The rose gold she seemed to be collecting glistened against the dulled background. She sucked in a deep breath as she opened her black eye, where was Aries now?
