One night, in the birth of winter, a dream is shared between the inhabitants of Beqanna:
She stands before you, radiant and golden, a wreath of gilded laurels upon her crown, proud wings glowing warmly with an internal light. She is small, but seems to fill all existing space. Though her lips do not move, a voice echoes in your mind, clear as a bell.
"I am Nike, Goddess of Victory. I invite you to a great competition. Glory and gifts await those who are strong of Heart, Mind and Body. If you wish to be remembered in the halls of Olympus, convene on this place three days hence. I await you."
She fades, leaving behind an image of a valley at the foot of the Mountain. Three arenas are arranged within the valley, festooned with banners and outlined with Corinthian columns. Between these stadiums stands a three leveled plinth, on which nine ghostly equine figures stand. They appear monumental and proud. You feel that you could be one of them.
Slowly, the dream transitions into pleasant sleep. The next morning you awaken, remembering it perfectly.

Welcome to the Beqanna Games
You are cordially invited to participate in the inaugural Beqanna Games. They will comprise of three events, each comprising of three tasks. Participants must form teams of three, with one member dedicated to each event.
Rules
1) Teams of three must be established. The more teams, the better.
2) Players may enter two horses, so long as these horses are not on the same teams, or in the same event. (Ex. Player Susie may enter characters Leo as part of Team 1 in Event 1 and Virgo on Team 3 in Event 2)
3) Events will be themed on the virtues of Courage, Intelligence and Strength.
4) Each Event will comprise of three tasks over three RL days. Each task will describe an obstacle you must attempt to overcome, and ask a horse-themed trivia question.
5) Responses must include a short (200 word limit) response post of how you tackle the obstacle, and the answer to the trivia question. Points will be awarded in accordance with the speed and accuracy with which you respond.
6) Final results will be determined on the total accumulated points the team earns over the course of all three Events. You win or lose as a team.
Rewards
Third place team: The option to permanently change all or part of your character's mane and tail metallic Bronze. A small (hand sized) new marking of any color.
Second place team: The option to permanently change all or part of your character's mane and tail metallic Silver. A one space trait of the Goddess' choice.
First place team: The option to change all or part of your character's mane and tail metallic Gold. An additional gifted trait worthy of the gods.
Participant entries are due OOC by 1800PST on Monday, March 5th. Teams will be announced by midnight of the 5th. Event 1 will begin March 6th.
