Just some questions I have after browsing the database for a while today.

Can someone clarify the difference between intangibility, phasing, and self-graying? All are 1-space traits. It seems like self-graying should be "graying" if they can manipulation others, and possibly a 2-space trait? On the other hand, can those using intangibility pass through objects like those with self-phasing?

62 Intangibility 1 Ability to make self unable to be touched.
66 Phasing 1 Ability to make one's body immaterial to pass through objects.
75 Phasing 1 Ability to make one's own body immaterial to pass through objects.
Other Names: Self-Phasing
294 Self Graying 1 Ability to manipulate the density/solidity of any object, living or non-living, including herself.

The other question was what determines which mimicrys are 1-space and which are 2-space? Could I (or someone :|) potentially combine egg-laying with bird mimicry (have egg laying as one of the 3 characteristics) and make it a 2-space trait instead of 1?

so it looks like the self graying definition is the definition for density manipulation, but it's actually supposed to be: ability of a horse that is graying to change their coat color to any shade of their own graying process. nothing to do with phasing, so that was just an error on our part when we uploaded the database!

re: intangibility and phasing. phasing can only be used to pass through objects - a wall or a tree or whatever. intangibility can be used to phase, but they can also just hang out at any time and be intangible. this will be updated in the database to make it more clear.

for the mimicries, natural non-extinct animal mimicries tend to be 1 space, mythical animal mimicries are 2 space - basically one step below the other. if there are characteristics of animals not included in the definition (like egg laying), just check with an owner/officer first, but we'd be okay with egg laying being included in bird mimicry and it still being a 1 space.
