    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    NykA
Nyka's burnt sienna poles carried her bodice into the cold, winter meadow. Trees around were dieing, all their leaves had fallen to the earth. Nyka had never really stayed close to home too long after birth. She assumed she had the wandering spirit of one of her parents, yet she didn't recall much memory of either of them. She had spent the last 3 years of her life wandering between the meadow and the shadows surrounding the battlefield, carefully watching mocks and battles, chaos and blood, death and victory. She craved it. Yet at the same time she secretly longed for validation from her creators, yet she was never too sure where to find them. If they were they even still around..

Her skull lifted to the sky, her orbs narrowed as a cold winter breeze almost shook her to her core. She exhaled, warm steam from her nares. Her dark orbs scanning the land, hoping to see any sort of body out there. Her yellow blaze seamed to shine in the wintery sunlight, as if it almost reflected its own light onto the flakes of cold snow. Standing at 16hh the mustang/fresian/arabian warrioress stood and let the snow collect in her flaxen banner and tassles, only occasionally shifting her weight from leg to leg to keep warm blood pumping through her muscles. Sometimes she enjoyed the silence.
lightning in her soul, thunder in her heart, and chaos in her bones
