It felt like a lifetime had passed since the silver queen had descended from her lofty throne. She had watched from the top of the Falls as life seemed to pass in swirls and around the kingdom. They were a peaceful kingdom, but in a time of good health and posterity, they were a quiet kingdom. She had been lax in following through on the alliances they had planned on attempting to forge, and the guilt gnawed at her. She had not been a very good guardian for kingdom these days, but she felt a surge of energy pulse through her. It was never too late to remedy that.
As she reaches the pool at the base of the waterfall, Shatter throws her elegant head back and lets out a call. Her voice rings sweetly through the darkening trees, carried on a brisk winter wind, calling her small family to her side. They had some things to discuss to be sure, but her main goal in calling the gathering was to see who remained. Texas had stood loyally by her side and been an invaluable ally. Her daughter, Tyrna, had flitted around the woods, always there but just out of reach. As for her adopted children, the queen had not seen them in some time. Hopefully today that would change.
