What do you call that? [Ashara, PRIVATE]

Jedi saw that the mare was in pain reliving her past memories that she tried so hard to forget. He moved closer so his body was now against hers, and he gently nuzzled her neck trying to comfort her.

Ashara asked him to pretend to be his mate; his heart was torn at the idea. He had fallen for the golden vixen in the forest when he first met her, and she had continuously denied him until he had no choice but to move on. It all makes sense now that the mare explained herself although he was unsure if he could do it without leaving in love with her. He wondered what her thoughts were on a foal, the kingdom would become very curious to why they had not produced any foals, and he could tell by watching Ashara that she had to have shared the same thoughts. The idea of pretending to be a mate with anyone made him angry, but he had previously fallen for Ashara and he has never been so close to a mare since his mother. Although he would deny feelings for Ashara a few still lingered and he would do as the mare asked "Ashara I can do that, but what about when its mating season?" he asked hesitantly and wanted to know were they would stand, and what there story would be when it came to breeding season this coming fall.

ASHARA

His words were comforting despite his body language saying something different. Perhaps she had crossed a line, asked too much of her comrade even though he agreed. They were certainly on the same page as far as suspicion went. “Well, we could say we tried but a foal never took. It’s happened to other mares.” She left out the thought of doing it with him, it was just too repulsing an idea.

Although this situation felt wrong, lying to the kingdom, Jedi was happy to help his friend. Ashara has grown dear to him and he wanted to protect her, even if it meant to pretend courtship. He listened as the mare said they tried, he has never heard of being unable to provide a kin, although he has not really been around those trying. Jedi gave a dip of his head in understandment "Than that is what we shall tell them." his instinct was to nuzzle the mare, but she seemed relaxed again and he did not want emotions to grow. There relationship would only stand when others were around, hopefully the mare could find trust in one of the royals in the future, he was sure Ygritte would understand.
