His mother has told him plenty of stories.
Stories about the Winds and the Stars and the River. Stories about kingdoms come and gone. Stories about magic. She had been more tentative with those (and rightly so when her eldest child is as apt to blaze his way across Beqanna. He doesn’t need the firestarter that the Mountain could provide.)
Still, how does a horse of Beqanna ignore the pull of the Mountain? It is the heart of this place, as iconic to this land as the volcano is to Tephra or the towering trees of Taiga. Even if a horse thinks that they can avoid the call of the Mountain, all of Beqanna’s residents cross paths with Magic in one form or another.
Nashua is a wanderer. His spirit is happiest in exploring places unknown, in the adrenaline rush of things yet experienced. Of the things that might come and the events that might happen. He and the unexplored, the uncharted, the undiscovered congregate together at the base of the Mountain and the yearling pegasus can feel it illuminating his soul with each step he takes.
He will turn around and return to Taiga - back to Yanhua and the rest of his family - but right now, the Mountain is calling and Nashua answers by climbing higher, into the unknown.
ooc - Nash would like a PQ to express his invisibility please
