Raxa had to admit, she was hopeful that the foal would choose her. The brindled mare didn't know why her maternal instincts were kicking in so severely right now; up until today, she'd usually been able to ignore them pretty well. But it was higher than ever today; what was going on? Well, no matter, all Raxa knew for sure was that she wanted the filly to go to a good home.
That didn't mean she had to be happy about the fact that she wasn't chosen though. As soon as the tiny foal started walking toward the mare from the Jungle, her muzzle reaching out to find comfort, Raxa knew the choice had been made. She was upset, and wasn't a fan of the Jungle, but had a distinct feeling that the foal would be okay there.
Burying the urges within her heart, the brindled mare just dipped her head in silent acknowledgement. She sent a look at the Jungle mare, a warning, that the foal had better be taken care of. Then, without a word, Raxa turned and walked off, heading back in the direction of her kingdom, sending silent well-wishes to the foal as she did so.
