    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

He's So Bad, But He Does It So Well; Dragonglass
    #1

No one can ever be ordinary, it takes power and characteristics to simply flush a name down the drain. Although there is one women that had once categorized herself, as ordinary, as indifferent to everyone else. That women was the one love of his life, a being he had flushed down the drain as he had done with all of his herd. He couldn't stand the thought of being without her presence. But it had already been so long since he had been in her presence. Since he had touched her ebony glossed coat, since she had been close to him. That feeling was now forgotten but as he walked past many dark colored bodies he always wondered, could that be her?

His tundra coat had grown over the multiple years he had stayed on the kingdom, still hesitant to walk into the cave to earn his scar the man found himself as a disgrace, a coward. Something his kingdom had no intentions to have within their bounds. Every day he would pass trough the common lands searching for that one girl that could bring him to enter the caves to become apart of the brotherhood. But every day he can't find her.

Until today, that finely featured body becomes visable and he can't help but smile sheepishly as he strides towards her. He's terrified that she might hate him, that she will reject him with a flick of her inky black tail. So summoning up the little courage that ran through his bones he halted before her, her gorgeous eyes that once had that sparkle had be extinguished from existence. He stared briefly Crimson eyes dazed with both fear and adrenaline pumping through his veins. Summoning his courage he speaks in his usual ghastly tone, "Hello, Dragonglass." He tastes her name, it was just as he had remembered, sweet like honey upon the tongue.

Then he finds himself lost for words, and he simply states at her blankly cimson eyes shifting about nervously.
