    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

She hears him. They always hear those that seek them, and much more besides. That is both the blessing and the curse of being them, and being something that is not limited by the laws of nature. The faeries were little more than Beqanna’a magic incarnate, and as such, they lived all throughout Beqanna all the time.

She hears him, and she comes. As usual, she appears in a swirl of purple magic, a tiny thing fluttering a small distance from the foal. ”You presume much. Perhaps she is fine.” Or perhaps she was not. At least his intentions were sweet, even if she had never been a huge fan of horses seeking something for others. ”You ask to make a decision for someone else. Go and first find out what it is like to have a decision made for you, and then return and tell me if you still wish to pursue this course.”

And then, as quickly as she came, Wysteria disappears.
