Beyza gives the angel’s question about friends serious consideration for a few moments before shrugging those tiny, downy wings at her sides. “I don’t know, I’ve got a couple of friends already. How many do you have?” She wonders what the right number of friends is to have. Her mother only seemed to have one or two and she seemed to be happy enough. And Beyza’s days were filled with practicing her magic with Anaxarete or exploring with Liv. Plus she had Caledonia too, twins were basically built-in friends! She hadn't even considered that maybe she should be making more. The statement about how Ryatah is probably the worst chaperone causes Beyza’s white nose to wrinkle in confusion, but it flits out of her head when the mare touches her on her shoulder and then moves off. Beyza hesitates for a moment because she felt something with that small touch. A spark of familiarity, a surge of warmth like what she feels when she cuddles up close to her sister to sleep or plays tag with her father. She doesn’t understand what it means, though, that it feels like she's with family and quickly forgets to consider it when Ryatah looks back and she hurriedly moves to catch up and walk beside her. What was the question? What was she curious about? “Oh everything I suppose! It’s funny to see places that aren’t Pangea. There’s no rocks here! Where do you live? Are there lots of rocks there too or is it - kinda green like this place?” As far as Beyza knew, those were the only two possibilities as far as what a place could look like.
