She wondered how the king felt of his kingdom. Were the open lands where he preferred to be? Among others, or was he partial to the sturdy canyon and its wide winding curves? She could not help but to think how interesting it was that the pair of them seemed as equals to the land. Her body as rich as a canyon, his shadows as dark as those that fall to the canyon floors.
