    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

You've got a light in your eyes, or is it just the dark in disguise?

She doesn't realise it, but time has skipped a certain beat, throwing her back into the ocean that she had come from minutes before, another kelpie, a sibling, appearing close to her, though a lot closer to their father.
How long had she been here, had she already taken the moment she longed for with her father away from her, or had she just arrived she ponders, emerging quickly from the sizzling foam created by the crashing waves now behind her, standing closer to the sapphire mare.

Her sibling is without a doubt a lot more confident than her, taking the lead and speaking to their father, though Tasi quickly follows in her footsteps, calling Ivar's name and taking note on his aggravated state.

Though before she can say anything else, Ivar poses a question to both of them, asking if they had killed anything yet.
The question sends a spike of guilt through her gut, a weird and confusing feeling that holds her still "I tried to kill a boy off the coast of Ischia" she casts her mind back to Aeolus, a sweet and welcoming horse who had been nothing but nice to her, but she wasn't able to shake the urge to kill him "But he slipped away, and I failed. I haven't been able to bring myself to kill anything else since then" she says, though her hope for empathy is more than unlikely to happen.

As he begins to walk forward, another horse appears, another Kelpie, though this doesn't surprise her. He also seems a lot more confident, and quite serious. Tasi takes a step back, almost as if she was trying to hide, closer to Nilam.
