    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

She slicked everything around her in a purple haze, it seemed like. He’s easily drawn into a quiet trance of observation and the violating pry of his eyes over her curves. Originally he had followed the burbling sound of water to find some cold mountain water to drink on this warm day in the meadow, but he stopped dead on the edge of the oak tree’s shadows and watched the creature in silence. Chem’s unphased by her techniques, her carnivorous nature is something he’s always sort of wanted for himself; what would it be like to siphon nutrition from death? The variety must be fun, he guesses. Alas he is not built for it and so he fills his belly like most horses do, by vegetation and the like.

The mare, the creek, the fractally reflection her transparent wings and the iridescent shine of her hair – it was a tapestry. Rivulets of ruby red blood trail down her mouth, the crystalline water accepting it back into its flow as it dripped from her muzzle. He is quiet on the moss-beds but his bulk will give him away as he moves, if his smell has not already betrayed his stalking then his slow approach certainly will.

One fish, two fish, catch a fish, eat a fish.

Hello there,” his head picks up with his bright teal eyes settling on the striking violet of her own stare. Only one of his eyes is free of his chunky black-haired forelock that spills down his big face. He stops at the edge of the gently rushing water where she fishes and takes in some of her delicate looking details. Her hair flowers, fangs and a faint aura of purple shining off of her pretty fur. It catches the water’s reflecting light just perfectly so she looked as if she possesses a natural lavender glow. “They good?” his smirk is slack and his eyes rake over her body a little longer before drifting back up to make eye contact again.
