Ever since her reunion with her dearest friend, her spirits had been raised dramatically. Almost nothing seemed to get on her nerves or put her down. Because she was so easily irritated by every little thing, it was really saying something. Though her reunion with Diarmuit had been brief she was quite satisfied. Ever moment she spent speaking with him only made her day brighter and brighter. Apparently the meeting had a long lasting impact, for she was still just as happy as she was even though a whole season had already passed since they parted ways again. Perhaps it was because she knew he wasn't gone. He mentioned he would be staying in Beqanna, at least for a while, so he wasn't that far. They'd meet each other again, and hopefully they'd be able to spend more time together. Her feelings for him still haven't changed; he was only a friend. But he was her dearest friend, a friendship which she valued as much as her own life.
Perhaps it was because of this mood change that caused her to decide to visit the sisterhood. Normally she wasn't too keen on the idea of doing more than visit one of the Kingdoms, and deep down she hoped she wouldn't change her mind on remaining a wanderer. But something had given her the push she needed to at least give the Kingdoms a chance. Whether she'd stay or not depended solely on those within the Kingdoms. But why she had visited Nerine, she wasn't sure. It was the furthest one from the Meadow where she had previously stayed before embarking on this journey, which in itself defied the logic of going to the nearest Kingdom. In all honesty, even in her good mood she wasn't too jolly about a Kingdom mostly made up of mares. She preferred being around the opposite sex over her own. This was not because she was attracted to the male species; it had already been made clear that she isn't interested in a romantic relationship. This was because she wanted to be seen as an equal to the 'dominant' sex. She didn't like being viewed as delicate, weak and always in need of a male to protect her like most viewed women. She could handle herself, and had proved as much time and time again since she was but a filly. She even managed to make Diarmuit nervous a few times, and he was the toughest stallion she knew.
But whether or not she liked the idea of the Kingdom being made up of women, she ventured on. She didn't know what to expect from their members, or their Queen should they cross paths. They may not like visitors, and may even throw her out. But she shrugged off the possibility. If that happens then whatever. Nothing was going to dampen her good mood.
