Oops!
Clearly she’d frightened the filly. Sawtooth conveniently forgets that most of them are not used to a wolf running freely in their midst. Gods what a strange herd they must think this! It’s certainly by no means a conventional pack in her eyes but her brother is more than enough alpha for her to readily obey.
(there’s some debate out still as to whether she actually does obey him or mouths off first)
Holy rabbit foot!
Sawtooth’s mouth gapes open as the girl changes from pastel green to blushing pink. How interesting! She’s never seen anything like it and circles the filly with a new light in her eyes. Don’t worry! She’s just very very curious.
She was on the verge of asking how the girl did that when she turned the red of blood and anger. Oops indeed! But Sawtooth makes no apology. “You sure?” she needles just a little bit, still laughing through a mouthful of teeth. Clearly the girl gained control and turned herself back to that interesting shade of pale green.
“I’m not clumsy at all. Besides, I fly instead of running.” the black wolf mimics a yawn and looks away for a moment. “Running is so boooorrrriiiinnngggg unless you’re a shifter.” she’s quite the antagonistic little brat. Can’t even blame it on being spoiled - there was no one to spoil her!
But she could see that the girl was trying to recover from her angry outburst so Sawtooth sighed and flopped down into the grass beside her. “I do now. What about you?“
Well, big brother did say time and time again not to eat the residents. Guess she couldn’t be snarky to them all that much either. Sawtooth just didn’t know better. Motherless children tend to run wild.
