Clegane is bulky for his age. He moves with wide steps and slightly lowered head - like a bull - his mother had said, although he really didn't know what that meant.
Today Solace and the twins are making their way across Hyaline, following the river to the common lands. They had attempted the journey several times before, but never had they been able to cross the mountains before the golden light of evening lit the mountainsides, and Solace announced that they would go no further for that day.
But Clegane didn't mind. They had always found interesting things to slow their progress, and his mother was forever getting herself into conversations with every passing resident. He half listened to these conversations, but it was more usual to find the prince slipping away with his twin while the Queen was distracted. Someday soon he would make it to the common lands, but he had a feeling it would be with Uncle Svedka or Smoak, and not his mother.
Solace is preoccupied with one of these conversations now, giving him the opportunity to follow a distant, young voice. Feigning boredom, Clegane mopes along the riverbank until he is out of sight of his twin (who happens to be much more difficult to trick than his mother) then he picks up a lively trot until the owner of the voice is in view.
"Hey, you!" He calls over the tumbling waters as he trots gingerly over the stones. "Hi! What are you playing? Are you trying to swim? I'm a good swimmer."
@[Kanamae] I will have Solace follow in the next post!
