Ischia was home to very few predatory animals. Parrots made up the bulk of the tropical paradise's inhabitants and, although abnoxiously loud, they were harmless. Despite her inexperience when dealing with such things, the young mare was confident in her abilities to defend herself. Confidently she moved through the desolated forest, weaving around half-charred trees and saplings alike. It was almost inspiring, the resilience of Taiga. One could even say it was a shame that it hadn't fallen under new leadership since its rebirth.
Twirling just beyond the shadow beside her, a presence wafted to attention. The musky scent assaulted her senses and she halted her progress to make a study of it. She'd been warned of the predatory creatures that prowled the mainland, but this particular energy did not feel threatening towards her. Inexplicably relaxed, Astarael fixed her eyes on the slinking creature as it emerged, a toothy grin upon its muzzle. Wolf. Unafraid, she stepped towards the lavender clad figure her ears pricked forward in curiosity. His offer to assist her was almost amusing even despite the points that lined his jaw.
Smiling, she cocked her head - the green of her eyes sparkling with interest. "Who is to say that I am in search of anything?"
Truthfully, she could not pinpoint exactly what it was that she was searching for - only that she was on a quest. There was so much that she didnt yet understand about herself or where she came from.
OOC: this was a phone post so please excuse any typos. Also, I'm not sure who the spirit could be. We could pretend that it's some unidentified grandparent on her mother's side.
