Leilan feels the pressure now - it’s his turn to face the goddess and his teammates have scored highly, so the same is probably expected from him. His gaze shifts from one horse to another, but Nike already calls for attention.

Now he has to race! He has a quick start and gives it his all. He’s in his prime, so he may be fast enough now; but he doesn’t look up until he finishes.
