And then they are there, standing by the edge of the cavern they had been living in for so long now. Where they had raised "their" two children...where she longed to raise more. Babies that were both of them, and not only some. She turns her head to look at him, emerald eyes softening as she stares into his ocean of blue.
If she had been sure of one thing, it was that she loved him. Regardless of their past, and regardless of what would happen in the future, she knew she always wanted him. She was content, living a quiet life along the base of the mountain with him, with whatever children they may have.
It wasn't for everybody, but it sure was good enough for her.
He brushes along the base of her neck, and she is quick to lean into it, letting out a content sigh at the surge of energy it sends through her body. When he stops, she turns, allowing herself to move closer to him, her face mere inches from his. Kuma trails her lips along his cheek bone, towards his ear, letting him feel her breath against his skin. She tickles the curve of his neck, down to his withers, flicking her scent towards him with her tail.
Did she need to say anything? It was clear she longed for this.
