Some with sound, but most mere thoughts. Each choosing to see again a loved one passed; parents, children, siblings, grandparents... lovers of course. The Erotes reveal the perfect image of the choosen. They exchange glances, words, touches, even tears. Their stories tug at the heart strings of the God's, and when they had dissolved back into nothing(just as the loved one had), they collaborate. Deciding which one of them had shown them the truest form of passion, desire and love.
Again they appear, just as they had before. Dampened of the sea, with remnants of sea life clinging to her form. Their pace steady and daunting as the beings eyes meet that of Hestia again. She had still been there. Staring into the breaking waves. The hardened lines of her face still apparent from when her lover had drifted from her view. She was angry, scorned some would say. Her heart broken but not her spirit. They admired her for that. Admired the way that she was determined to carry on even when much seemed lost. The fire burning within her soul, unmatched by the others. They speak, "For your loss, we grant you a gift. May the fire of the Phoenix match the own fire in your heart. But Hestia, be careful, fore flames can lose control and consume you in your darkest of hours." With nothing more they dissipate into the foam of the sea. Leaving a burning within the dark mare that could never be sated.
