His father told him an interesting thing recently - People do as they will... or as you make them do.. Nisos liked the sound of that. That means - if he were to figure out how - he could get whatever his little heart desired. And oh dear, did it desire a lot. But he was young, and there are stars a plenty in his eyes. Not unlike his father, Nisos is a dreamer. A dreamer with a lust for power and a will to go after it. One way or another.
One way or another...
But dreams can only get a boy so far. It takes skill, courage, know how to get what you want in this world. It takes learning, despite the fact that you may think you are the best. Everyone starts out somewhere. And in the dawn of his life, Nisos starts at the beginning the only way he knows how - by seeking out his family. His father, Damien, had gone and disappeared again. That, Nisos vowed, was not how he would become. A horse obsessed with seeking immortality - his father left Beqanna frequently in search of his lover, Vain. (Not that they ever really loved each other - they fought mostly, then had lots of make up sex.) But to each his own.. Nisos wanted to be his own person. To do his own things. But what he had yet to learn, is that his father's shadow would follow him throughout his life. There would be no escape.
But today, as Damien flies off again, Nisos is left to ponder his own interests. His mother, Harmonia, is nowhere to be seen - though the buckskin boy is now beyond worrying about her. Today is his and he will make the best of it. But where to start? He sets off in search of something or someone interesting, down a path less traveled. Onward and onward into the unknown - into the Valley. You never know who you'll meet.. but maybe you'll grow in the process.
