With his leathery nose to the terrain, he tries to identify a recent trail. He has smelt the scent of many quadrupeds but the equines of this world were abundant. Picking out a specific one was much harder than you'd think. At least for a young wolf.
His deep purple coat was thick from the winter months. Soon though, spring would take hold and his fur would thin. Thankfully cause man it was getting hot with all this activity. His jaws parted for panting breaths as his lanky stride moved him deeper into the heart of the kingdom. He had yet to see anyone to point him in any particular direction.
Hello?
The sudden call stops him immediately. His claws grip into the earth as he swings his body 180°. The wind must have been in the strangers favor or surely he would have smelled them. Closing his jaw tight as he observes the bright, winged creature. She had an unmistakable white aura about her that glowed much like the ghost that had requested his help.
His immediate thoughts must have trigger said ghost to draw the light from the mare to form his figure beside her. His head tilts in obvious confusion and slight wonder. Watching as the colt looks to the mare, a proud smile on his lips. Not a hint of despair he had exhibited that snowy night. His purple lips too form a grin as his amethyst eyes now look clearly into the mares. "Solace. That is your name correct?" He half waits for an affirmation but figures she is so he continues, "You are very lucky to have a gaurdian angel." His eyes shift momentarily to her left side. When he looks back into the face of Solace his smile turns serious. "I'm afraid something is wrong though. I've been asked to come here to find you. He needs your help," looking to her side again the aura shifts. Face looking now to the east. His triangular profile follows the spirits direction. With a slight nod of understanding given, "We must hurry. I can explain more on the way." His body turns to the direction from which he came.
There next destination would be a familiar one. The Taigan forests were his home and he can only guess what they might find there. One paw reaches forwards but he hesitates knowing there would be questions of doubt coming from the mare...
