    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

The clatter of hooves on stone brings the cream lady back to alertness. There are few on this island who hold the ability to reach this secret space, but she is very aware that Krone is one of them. Unfortunate, but an issue that would be addressed at another time.  Her eyes have adjusted to the dimness, and so the twilight form of her erstwhile companion comes into view without trouble. A wicker of greeting slips from her throat, soft as a dove cooing.

The scent of his exertion whirled towards her, masculine aroma piquing her interest. He stood at the cave's entrance but a moment, long enough for her to note the delicate filigree adorning his face, before his momentum brought him close. There was a hunger in his eyes that she could not help but appreciate. It had been there from that first encounter. She did not fool herself; she had seen enough of him to know that his love was freely and openly given, to whomever took his fancy at the moment. For now though, the heat radiating from his muscular form was distracting. She smiled up into his glittering visage, an eyebrow quirked in amusement. "Clever enough, I'd say. Pretty baubles." She noted, indicating his mask. It suited him in more ways than one.

His caress of greeting went from sweet to roguish as his velvet lips worked their way along her artfully sculpted neck, while he murmured his sweet nothings. His regal face pressed into her delicate breast, breathe hot against the tender flesh there, making her shiver in anticipation. She brought her dainty muzzle to his crest, burying her nose in the silken mass of his mane to nibble at the hard muscle underneath. A soft kiss was quickly followed by a sharper nip, just shy of bruising. He was beautiful and charming, but she was not quite happy with him.

"I'll have your name before I let you have me." She whispered into his ear, taking a step back from the promise of his embrace. This was a man full of secrets and subterfuge, and she trusted him not a bit. She didn't need to trust him to enjoy him. But his name she required.

The woman's crystal gaze caught his momentarily, haughty and guarded, swearing nothing to him. Her next motion brought her chest to his, only to glance against him, to slip against his flank. Her face now rested against his wing, cradled between feathers and flank. Downy rump was now tucked strategically beneath his lavender face, the strands of her tail whisking upwards to lash gently against his nose. She wanted him, there was no denying that. If he wanted her half as much as he acted, he would earn it.
