The long walk or rather trot home had made his muscles sore the first couple days and he had whined to his mother Tarvelie. Ardashir had to keep moving though and followed the winged mare where she led with the promise of home and rest at the end of the long trip. There were of course moments of relaxing and play his legs had grown stronger in the journey. He was very clearly a draft colt though his frame had changed from those first couple days and now had filled out thanks to mothers milk. He enjoyed running and kicking but never strayed far from his mother always trying to tuck his head up under her wings when he could.
Tarvelie would hasten her steps as the two grew closer to her home it seemed and Ardashir not wanting to be left behind pranced along beside her. Mother would slow down once more as they walked along the coast line and the colt danced along in the sand at her side playing with the water as it rushed in and then back out. He listened as she explained about the living things that also peaked out of hiding around them.
He looked up to the dun mare as she asked him what he thought.
Ardashir swung his tail around a moment looking all over and then back to Tarvelie, “ I like it mother home seems much nicer and a lot more open!” He gave a prancing buck and tossed his head, “ More space to run and play!” He added with a squeal and with another buck he was off galloping around her in a large oval kicking up sand along the beach as he played.
