"Damn you, Ashley." Marlyn utters softly under her breath as she feels the changes in her body. Her head hurts, she's starving all the time, her hooves are swollen and achy and she is just friggen irritated with everyone. Earlier in the day she had to apologize to her young son after she had snapped at him from waking her during a mid day nap. Poor Porter had wailed with fat tears rolling down his small cheeks. Marlyn held him and shushed him and told him how sorry she was and that she didn't feel well until he choked back the sobs. Mar took advantage and began to tickle him till he shrieked in delight and she shooed him off with a kiss on his forehead and a gentle nip to his rear.

The spotted mare sighed as she moved her feet beneath her, looking for the bastard that she loved so damn much she could strangle him. She takes her time getting to her feet, the warm sand still stuck to her patterned side, trudging little trails though the sand with her feathered hooves. The warm breeze brought a smile to her pretty face as she turns a cheek to the sun to soak in it's warmth. For now, Marlyn would enjoy the heat and sun as much as she could. A short call lifts from her lips as she looks for her ginger man to tell him the good news of their second child.

"It had better be good news." The words murmur from her mouth as dark eyes look for the familiar walk of Ashley. She knew he'd heed her call soon enough, though he typically answered her begrudgingly.

Oh well.
