It hadn't taken long before a resident smelled the sulphur upon her coat. It was a scent you got used to but others could smell miles off. So she didn't lurk within the shadows anymore. It did no good. Plus she had no reason to.
The other approached swiftly and she dipped her crown in greeting. She was formal in every way. Dark pools held a soft gaze as the mare spoke her name. And of course her reasoning for intruding. She spoke as softly as her gaze,
I am Neon. 'Tis a pleasure to meet ye, Nayl. Her pools danced about the lands that bordered the great waters. These lands are quite peaceful. The waters constant contact on the shores dulled any racket outside their conversation. Looking back upon the mare before her, a saddness in her eyes soul that one may dismiss but not her... Loneliness perhaps. Her smile did it's best to hide it. She smiled genuinely at the mare as her conversation led to Tephra. The unmistakable smell upon her giving it away. A slight nodd accompanied her words,
It is well in Tephra. The lands each faired in there own ways. She held no interest in the lands as a whole necessarily. But more the inhabitants before her. She paused slightly then picked her words carefully, How are thee, Nayl? Deep pools sought the truth in the lines of her features. Would she pass the question over with a Fine... A lie. Or would honest truth surface? She assumed the easier of the two. Since at this point she was just an intruder to her. But maybe more... Someday...
