    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Callbear

    Vengeling

    Sidlet

To do list: 1. Wait for tonight.
    2. Try to take over the world.

The evening sky had overtaken the afternoon sun. The sweet chirps of birds had given way to the early crickets of the evening. The three foals stood huddled about heads together as hushed voices blurred together. The forest was their secret keeper, nothing would find them there. (At least,t o their newly formed understanding of the world which was loose and unfounded.) For if the forest kept their secrets, then what did the world outside of their little huddle matter. Their altered reality just made them different, and unique. That uniqueness is what would make people want to follow their lead. People liked unique, collected it on shelves, or displayed for everyone to see. It would be to their advantage. The three black(ish) foals with the gold accents and ice blazes surely they would be a force to be reckoned with.

The occasional voice drift from the group with clear distinction. Sidlet was most often the voice that came through in an exclamation of surprise or disagreement, You can't do that Callbear! Vengeling don't encourage her! Say something! Sometimes it was Callbear, Sidlet you bore me with your concern for others. Do something about that wouldn't you Vengey-dear? Seriously how hard can it be to get big? But mostly they all mushed together. Until they all hushed in a rush as something moved in the brush. (i'm so clever with my rhymes). Three little heads snapped towards the sound; three little ears peaked with interest; three little sets of nostrils flared as the adrenaline hit them. But none of them moved, Sidlet glanced at Bly but she didn't budge at the sound, Vengeling looked to Callbear but the slender frame of an appaloosa mare broke into their clearing before any could decide on an action.

They watched her in shocked silence, as she cooed to them about being big. (For all of their big talk and bold planning, they stood their rather dumbly and allowed this stranger to invoke her will on them.) The sensations began like a shot, as a tingling sensation began creeping all over their bodies. It was as if they were being enveloped in something, though they didn't see a thing. The tingling turned into varied levels of pain as their bones and muscles grew rapidly before the eyes of the slender mare. After what felt like forever to the young foals it stopped. Whatever had wrapped around them subsided and it was done. Vengeling looked around shocked by the sudden change in his vantage point. When you grow several feet in a matter of minutes you notice when your line of sight changed. Further more, he realized he had a feeling of stability with the legs that were beneath him. He looked to Callbear next, she was less lanky looking than before. She had become much more refined, her head curved and body slender, much like the unknown mare that stood before them. Sidlet looked gentle and kind, but still full of life like he had before. If Vengeling had to guess he would look rugged and manly...but one's self image is not always accurate.

Callbear took notice of the changes her brothers and herself had just gone through in rapid progression. It was surely a shock, but one she was glad to have had. She was super impressed, and immediately looked over to the mare who was so coy and confident. The black mare with gold mane and tale knew that She herself wanted to befriend her. ...What do you say to that? Call held her head high and walked forward, "I say being small is definitely for the birds....who do we have to thank for this?" She gestured on either side of her, a smirk planted firmly upon her lips. The newly aged filly wasn't aware of her ability to be sensual or womanly yet. She was though, and surely there would be consequences down the road. Vengeling looked back mischievously, the world would surely know them in due time. For now, the three stood almost as if awaiting orders. They needed no permission, but they would at least get the name of their provider...and maybe some direction for where to start.
