The light that shines so bright.
Forests weren’t really the best place for her to hang out, but she would have to get used to it soon anyway. The place Andras wanted to take her too was a foresty land, which means she would have little to no space to flap her wings and chose the sky over the ground. It would be so different from what she was used to and the blue and black girl couldn’t help but to be afraid to be caged again.
Gyps had been born and raised in the Golden Plains, before she had been traded off to the Cobblestone Creek. Even though she had always been able to freely use her wings, she had been like a prisoner in the latter. Andras fried her, and now he wanted to ‘cage’ her again? Sure, she agreed that she would follow him anywhere, and she would, but the fear was there.
Even when walking through the forest, without being bound to the place, gives Gyps an almost eerie feeling. She doesn’t really like it. Although the trees offer her places to hide and to shelter, they cut her off from her beloved sky too. As her blue gaze moves upwards, she realises that she even cannot see it. The result is the loud, disapproving, snort and a ruffle of wings, like Gyps was trying to get rid of the slight irritation that held her body.
Too emerged in her own thoughts, she doesn’t notice the dark mare until she’s too close to avoid her company. Gyps blinks, cursing her own carelessness, before dipping her head in a silent greeting. ”Hi there.”
Gyps
